Whether you ride in a group or alone, you will find GWRRA offers something special for you and yours. We invite you to find out what is happening within our Chapter as well as in the Oregon District.
Once upon a time, long long ago there were two people who loved to ride motorcycles. It was 1984 when Don & Barb Gimbel joined a group of Goldwing riders named GWRRA (Gold Wing Road Riders Association). Don was asked to be the assistant State Director and it was in that capacity that he was asked to help start a chapter in Salem. He approached two different men about the possibility of being the Chapter Director (or Area Rep as they were called then) for this group. Neither one took him up on it so he and Barb decided they would volunteer, as a way to get things going. The Chapter was established in 1985. The group started growing and to the best recollection of Don, Jim and Helen Wall the following is a list of Chapter G Directors...
